What is this?
The 7 Level Managed Back-Up Plan is a comprehensive back-up solution to ensure your data is secure and available regardless of an equipment malfunction, fire, flood or other natural or man-made disaster.

How is the data backed up?
Internal to our server is an automatic 3 level plan that backs up your data to a back-up storage drive on a Daily, Weekly and Monthly basis, one copy is kept of each. With our 7 level plan we take an off-site back-up on a weekly basis to an encrypted back-up storage drive. We keep 4 weeks worth of back-ups. After the back-up is completed, the encrypted back-up is kept in a fire-resistant vault and secured.

Why do I need this?
In the event of a fire, flood or other disaster at our state of the art data center, your data could be lost. Nearly all hosting providers make back-up the responsibility of the customer, until now! With our 7 level plan we take that burden away by providing secure off-site storage of your data.

Isn't back-up included in my hosting plan?
All hosting plans include a 3 level internal backup plan. In the case of equipment failure, fire or flood you data could still be lost. By adding 4 level off-site back-up your data is always secure.

Isn't LCMI Web Solutions responsible for my data?
No, as with nearly all hosting providers back-up is a customer responsibility, we do perform a 3 level back-up, but in no way guarantee this back-up to be available when needed because it is stored within the data center that our server is located in.

Do you provide a guarantee with the 7 Level Managed Back-Up Plan?
The plan includes a money-back guarantee as follows:
In the event of data loss on the primary server, if LCMI is unable to restore your system to within 10 days of the date of data loss on the primary server we will refund your purchase price of the back-up option for up to one year. ($120 at current pricing)

Is there a charge to restore my data?
In the event of an equipment or data canter failure that is deemed in the control of LCMI or its vendors, there is no charge. Acts of God or others involves a $50 restoration fee.

What if I accidentally erase my data on the server?
We can restore your account to the most recent available backup for a $50 restoration fee.
